If oilers are going to do a restructure getting 1sts and young prospects are needed. This trade is right now but at the draft the trade is completed. But before people say why would the oilers be interested in brown remember McDavid and Brown have a past history of being linemates and brown understands how McDavid thinks the game. So he could be what Chris Kunitz was to Crosby a solid allround player who complements McDavid. Also, i get this might be an overpay but the thought is if the leafs overpay for Larsson it might actually slowdown the d market this TDL just like where Toronto got a 2nd round pick for Polak and garbage. So if the leafs do this at the draft they can then of needed trade Johnsson or Kapanen which finishes the trade just like when SJ gave up practically nothing for Reimer. It a thought but it solves 2 things 1 the leafs get the net clearing Shutdown dman they need with term on a solid contract and the oilers look like they know what they are doing finally.
