It's going to take more than to pry Parayko and Perron from the Blues, especially if you want us to take on Zaitsev.

I'll start off by saying I love the look of this roster. Pernsonnel up and down looks really good.

As for the signings and trades....IMO:

1. Auston might do $8m on a 1-2 year term but is over $10m at 3-4yrs and over $11m at 5 and above
2. Marner might do $9m on a 6yr term but might push closer to $10m on anything longer
3. The dollar amount for Pionk might be close. The trade to get him...I dunno...a few months ago NYR fans didn't want to move him at all...now some have changed their minds a bit. Maybe changing their 2nd rounder to something a couple rounds later it's closer
4. Parayko. I think it's going to take a 'blow their socks off' kind of offer to get St. Louis to move Colton. It's amazing how quickly perceptions and trade values change. Over the summer...a Nylander-Parayko trade straight up was seen as fair value. Now Nylander's shine has faded a bit and Parayko is looking like a true #1 shut down D-man. Offer likely includes a first...their choice of Sandin or LIljegren...their preference of Nylander or Kapanen...and depending on if they see Zaitsev as negative value or not...maybe another pick as high as a 2nd
