Rumour regarding the Pens. Retainment is for an upcoming UFA and makes the cap hit even.
I actually think that this could be a good trade for both teams and the value seems to be there.

leafs have no reason to trade bozak. they are a playoff team.

But the cap hit isn't even because Toronto is retaining 2.1 of Bozak... So it's still 4.2 vs 2.1

Leafs can retain the cap hit no problem. This is just a rumour I read about.
Leafs can use Cole on the PK and Bozak will not be resigned IMO.
I know that Toronto would want a RHD back but I think this move would be ok TBH.
