God dang this will really make me think about it......No joke, Gallagher is the PERFECT FIT for that line btw. He'd be a 30 goal scorer and a perfect compliment to Johnny and Monahan.

Problem is our offense falls off a cliff without Gally's forecheck and net presense. Tough decision on this one. For that 5 stars!

I think Brodie would be an excellent fit with Weber. For whatever reason Brodie hasn't been the same player he was under Hartley. That being said, Julien is a better coach than Gulutzan and I'm sure he can get Brodie back to the level Hartley had. Lots of us Flames fans forget this but, in 2015 after Gio went down Brodie carried the team into the playoffs and past VAN in the 1st round.

I think this trade is very well fit for both sides. But in the future montreal will probably look back at this and say they lost this trade

Would be tough to give up Gallagher but I think the value is there.

I think this is one of the most reasonable big name trades that could happen. It would depend on the Habs place in the standings come the trade deadline but this would really benefit them long term as Gallagher has so much untapped potential that playing with Monahan and Gaudreau would help bring out. Good call.
