Understand this is an "if" post, but I'm pretty confident GMGM and Bill Foley have already said they aren't going to part with picks. If anything, they may sell off regardless of their position in the standing. Truth is some guys on expiring deals may not re-sign regardless.

Agreed. And why would anyone think Nash is a difference maker now, and he never has been in the playoffs.

Nash is a big, tough, quick player who comes up with a couple goals in the playoffs, but that is an overpayment.
