The money is ridiculous but it would be a great line. In reality Tavares will likely go to MTL or re-sign in NYI.

Yeah no way is Tavares signing in Edmonton to be McDavid's winger not even remotely happening.

We wish for JT but by ending this season 25th in the league it will be hard to convince him that we can be contender .... will see

Tavares wouldn’t sign in Edmonton. If he were to leave NY it would be for 1- a contender and 2- a team with less Centers

I would say that Malkin-Crosby-Anyone is better too, but yeah, this would be pretty exciting although the team depth isn´t anything to talk about.

If we're doing a full line with centre left and right wingers marchamd-mcdavid-tarasenko would be the best

Neither was McDavid, Taveres, Draisaitl. and I am sure at some point in time, those 3 played on a power play or something.

So then it wasn't a line, that would make it powerplay unit. Gretzky played with Kurri often and Messier played with Anderson.

Crosby and Malkin haven't been consistently linemates since very early in their careers and production went up for them and the entire team when they were split. Not to mention they had some guy name Lemeuix sheltering them. As for the Oilers depth right now and on this fake roster it's extremely thin. $10M would be better spent on some snipers out of free agency.
