Description

St. Louis gets a home town boy who can put up points and add depth for there playoff team

Cammalleri can still provide offense to a team who looks like they’re going to be contending

Letestu would be the perfect third line centre great at faceoffs and can add scoring on the second unit for the pens

Montreal trade might be to much to the fans but understand habs fans you’re desprate for a good centre and please don’t be dumb enough to sign JT to 7 Years x 15 come on he’s good but that’s almost twice of Crosby contract... RNH would slot in as number one centre right away ! Would be able to push Drouin to wing where HE ACTUALLY THRIVES AT not at centre. Yes it’s a steep price but it’s the price you need to pay and Galchenyuk can add scoring to the oilers top line

When you have to preface a trade with "If ___________ truly wants to contend..." it's probably a sign that you're asking for too much. Overall seems like pretty reasonable ideas though.

I’d say a second for Maroon is an ok trade don’t you agree?

I think Habs fans would jump at that deal(maybe not 2 picks though), Colorado is in a rebuild, so they are not giving up any picks for a veteran.

Montreal hasn't had a number 1C for years, mostly because they use number 2C's in that role and think it's good enough. RNH would be more of the same.

No point in us overpaying for a center this season. Take our chances in UFA or make an off season trade. The next 2 crops of free agents offer a number of top 6 centers, so we can get at least a 2C without giving up those assets.

i think maroon goes for more than letestu, probably gets a conditional 2nd that can become and first and a decent prospect

As a Hab fan, I would rather keep the picks and full some needed sports within our own system. I like Hopkins but not enough to give up on Galchenyuk and 2 2nd round picks at this point.
