Kane, JGP and Wideman

Created by: Willian_Cardoso
Team: 2017-18 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 26, 2018
Published: Jan. 26, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Pens would receive their much needed 3rd line C plus a good two-way d-man. On the other hand, Sens would receive a much needed scoring depth winger plus a good d-man and great blocker and their potentially goalie of the future.

As for Kane's trade, Pens would bring one of the best scoring power forward of the league as a rental. On the other hand, Sabres would receiving a young C/LW who's showing that he can scoring depth to his team plus a good two-way d-man who could help Sabres on both sides of the rink and in their transition game, cause he has some speed in his game.

So, in my opinion, all the teams involved would benefit of these trades and Pens could be considered one of the main contenders for the cup and for the 3peat again.

Maybe the ARI and OTT trades pass but no way in hell the BUF one does. You're giving them MAYBE at best a 3rd liner in Simon (doubtful), a bottom pairing dman with 2 more years on a not so great cap hit, and a late 1st for, in your words, "one of the best scoring power forward of the league". That does not add up at all. BUF can get much better for him.

Yeah, I'm thinking better now and you're right. There're another teams interested in Kane. I'll have to make a better offer than this one.

Thank you.

1- Hags is not going anywhere, especially with this Offensive explosion hes having.... plus he is too important of a Defensive player 5 on 5 and on PK.
2- The Pageau trade : I do not get all the Pens fans hype for a 5-9, 170lb soaking wet Center with a career high points of 43, 33 last year, and 15 this year? His Hero chart is avg for a 3rd line C every year? His face-off numbers are average? But give u he is a good PK guy and he is quick on ice? So please sell me on Pageau and giving up all that? IDK maybe im just not crazy bout him. lol.

All the Sens players are having a bad or at least a below average season. Even Karlsson is having a bad season for his standards. JGP showed a very good upside last season. He was one of the best Sens players last postseason. He's still young and I think he can play much better in Pitt, cause we have a much better team than Senators.

Besides, I include a very good two-way d-man in my trade. Wideman could help us on both sides of the rink.
