lets say that pick is 5th overall, ur getting a guy like tkachuk or boqvist. arent those players gonna be better then mcd? no offense to him

The one year term left in McDonagh's contract, makes this a poor deal for lottery picking Oilers. Buchnevichh has made dozens of these trades, equally meaningful

i dont think the oilers should be trading for a 29 year old. if mcd was like 22, then sure, u add him.

Lets be honest its not like countless #1 over all picks have helped them. Maybe a 29 year old d man is the right fit.

last i checked, oilers need a winger. rnh will most likely get traded, so maybe if not for a winger, then a d man.

Puljujarvi + 1st would be the price. Not sure if it makes sense for Edmonton. But this is Chiarelli we're talking about. Would be no worse than the Hall deal.
