Karlsson on his off side is still probably extremely good. I considered including Carlo instead, but the problem with that is there isn't really any way to match salary then.

Not nearly enough for Karlsson IMO. Ottawa doesn't start that conversation without either McAvoy or Carlo involved.

Don't need him, he would eventually bust our cap and we don't need another small defenseman, who can't play in his own end.

ARI almost has 16 in cap space so they'll be struggling to reach the floor next season, maybe Carlo and blue chips/picks to them for OEL but they have to take on Beleskey's salary??? It'd be nice to know what the salary floor is going to be next season.

I still like a Krug JFK, Vatrano type deal for Hanifin or Chychrun.

OEL is a left-hander, so getting rid of Carlo then would just create a hole on the right side again. But I could see a package around Krug.
