We have cap space, why not keep Cole. Losing a 2nd because we don’t traded him isn’t the end of the world. I’d prefer Cole over Hunwick in the lineup.

Sullivan obviously doesn't. So if we keep Cole, he's the 7th D-Man. Maybe even 8th, depending on how the team views Ruhwedel.

If Cole was 8D, he wouldn't have been playing tonight. I think you're missing the point: Cole provides great defensive depth and doesn't hurt if he leaves in UFA next year.

Imo Strome has more offensive upside than Sheary, plus Strome has only been on Edmonton for half a year... too early for the oilers to give up on him.

Yes he would. Remember that Ruhwedel is still on IR. I'm saying organizationally, he might even be considered behind Ruhwedel.

Ahh yeah, just saw that. Wasn't aware he was back. I didn't know where they would place him either, was just guessing they could possibly be high on him.
