Boston says hell no. Ducks have said Steel in not available. Why would non playoff teams trade away picks and young talent for 1 year of Max? He won’t do them any good this year. Better off holding. Chiarelli is dumb enough to though. If he is dealt it will be to a team that thinks they can win the Cup this year or will help them get to the playoffs. EDM and VAN are not those teams.

Price is high on Pacioretty and a team with a rich prospect pool (Tampa,Winnipeg,Wild) are all teams that could afford it and it would massively improve their chance at a cup

If MTL will rebuilt... those trade are ok!
But not... they need a retool with different assets.
maybe Edm to get a LHD to play with Weber but all the other is NO! sorry

Way too much for him in all the trades.

Any of those teams can use half those assets to get Michael Grabner. Or they just go after Evander Kane.
