I don’t know if Nashville needs a LW, and especially not at that cost. Nash isn’t really going to move the needle for them. Maybe JUST the first rounder, maybe

Massive overreach on Nash. Tolvanen is nearly untouchable for Nashville.

Nash deal is an overpayment by Preds. But Rangers say no to Zuc, McD, Grabner, and Smith deals. Not enough coming back.

Smith deal would be lucky if the 3rd comes back with how he has played this season. He regressed badly from last year.

Yeah I'd disagree with that completely. The thing that mainly changed last year to this is Smith getting paired with Skjei vs. Staal. Smith's possession numbers are exactly the same. He's getting paid what he's worth. He's an elite shot suppressor. I don't really want to trade him. Would rather just buyout Staal.
