yeah but byron is a way better, faster player who is a PK leader
unlike Connoly he defied draft expectations that pegged him as a third line player at best due to his 5'9 180lbs frame
but all it took was him getting out of a bad situation with a tail spinning team in CGY and he's gotten better each season production wise .

his speed, the ability to lead our team in hits during the playoff and his heart is why teams will want him
his low cap and term remaining as the cheapest goal scorer who isnt a rookie outside Marchesault is while they will need him .


i look at EDM as a team that could use byron or WSH
both are using players who were bottom 6 on shitty teams as top 6 forwards
due to lack of depth and with Mcdavid especially given EDM horrible PK situation it just seems
like we could do well there or in ANA

I'm a Habs fan but I can't see Hemsky getting traded, I think he's done as a player ... he's been out for months with another concussion and is not as far as I can tell even skating. He'd be better off retiring. I'd love to get a 7th rounder for him, but I can't see him being healthy enough to be traded for even that.
