Sens say no. Sens have plenty of centre prospects in the pipe, and I don't think they'd want to take back Hagelin. You'd need to do a better job addressing their needs, namely a goalie in Jarry or gustavsson, or a skilled rightwinger in Sprong.

That's why I traded for Josh Leivo in the 1st deal, he's HAGS 2.0

SidStick said it perfectly. Hagelin is worth every cent of his 4m if he keeps allowing Malkin to play towards his strengths. Coincidence that Malkin is the hottest player in the league when with Hagelin?

Playing with Malkin can make a bottom 6- top 9 look like an elite top 6 forward, hags for a bigger body in Marroon seems fair , sacrifice speed for speed and a big body on the powerplay

Did you not understand me? Hagelin is perfect for Malkin’s LW right now.

Maroon is slow.
Leivo doesn't have Hags speed. Not saying he is slow but Hags is a special kind of fast. He seems to have lost the ability to do much with he puck at high speed but for what the Pens are currently using him for he's perfect fit.

I don't see ottawa being too enthused with a package that doesn't have a decent player or prospect in it. No Offense to BLeuger but he isn't top end and Gustavsson isn't a sure thing.
