I see that it took you trouble to put Simon in the AHL . . .


No way Rangers trade three roster players in one deal. Doesn’t let them maximize assets.

Giving up a ton but the return is pretty good. This would be solid for both teams, although 2 of the 3 players the Pens receive are UFAs. The Rangers would win this one by a mile in the long run, but the Pens would be set up for a run this year.

The rangers could get a ton more for the players whether separately or in a deal like this.
Grabner is getting a 2nd pick and a good prospect or multiple picks
Holden a mid round pick
It will take a lot to get Hayes who is young big center who has a history of putting up around 40 points and is an RFA.
