Description

In my opinion, the Penguins should not go for one of those guys (Kane, Pacioretty) since we would have to move a lot of our future, and it will be hard to work out with cap. I think acquiring a young winger or at least someone a little cheaper than what the price would be for Kane/Pacioretty makes sense. Since Penguins are making a relatively big deal for Domi, they get a center that comes at a cheaper price. Let me know what you guys think.

Additional Details:

The Penguins add on a familiar face in Letestu who can play 4th line, but someone who can also play on special teams. It seems like HCMS has more confidence in Sheahan, who will be a 3rd line center.

Additional Details:

The Oilers get an extra draft pick, to basically replace the one they lost in the Montoya trade. They also add Rowney, who has been a solid servant for the Penguins, but who just will not be able to find a place in the lineup. He would be a good depth player for the Oilers.

Additional Details:

Since Arizona already has 50 contracts, same amount of players need to be moved on each side. I was thinking of adding Hunwick and Schenn, but do not see that being too fair. I am not even sure this deal is fair enough, but I think it allows the Pens to acquire a young player, which is good for their future. Hopefully he picks up his game with Crosby beside him.

Additional Details:

Similar to the Duclair trade, the Coyotes get someone a little older who is already signed to a contract, and who can fit their playstyle. They get a young goalie prospect who looks good. They add 2 draft picks in this year's draft.
