Remember the Jagr trade.... traded at peak value for three prime prospects at the time. None panned out for Pittsburgh.

Try Sid to Stl for parayko & vlad +
Try malkin for a good established forward and defenseman +
Kessel for Carlo plus first and macovy
Shultz for Brazal

That would work better for pens.
Crosby and Malkin are generational talents. And they have three cups and counting to show for it.

Consider trading them in maybe five years. Or for a ridiculous offer

If we win 3 straight cups you can do whatever you want..... Hopefully there is a lot of late 1st round picks that turn out to be studs... .Our window is open for a while. Keep winning. Worry about sucking when we get there.

Players have NMC or very restrictive NTC for a reason.......so that can't be traded. Way too much money going one some of those deals.
