Description

Very doubtful this ever happens, (NMC for Malkin) but it could make sense for both sides.
Why the Sens do it? Bring in an elite C and very good D to replace EK. This move allows them to retool (along with some other deadline moves) and be able to get back into contention next year.
Why the Pens do it? They get the best D in the league along with depth at C. The loss of Malkin hurts as they lose some offence but gives them more depth and cap space to make a run for it this year and next.

Interesting deal, might take some time to evaluate that if i was the gm but malkin is a one of a kind and so is letang and karlsson. So i might say no but then again there are a lot of assets coming from the senators. Another question is if malkin waives for Sens. He just won two cups with Pens who are among the top in the metro while ottawa struggles.

as much as I love Buddy Erik Karlsson, I am completely faithful to Geno. He could not score a goal ever again and I would still have to be faithful to him.
