As a Ducks fan, I like the Leivo trade. He probably solves the biggest issue we have on the 3rd line LW, Ritchie just isn't cutting it.

Do the Leafs want Luke Schenn? What does he bring to the table, with no points and atrocious possession numbers his whole career?

Also, I really like what Glendening can bring, and believe that his corsi and fenwick are driven way down because he is used so defensively, and with terrible or unprepared 4th linemates on Detroit.
While winning 58% of his draws he's not coming to Toronto for a 4th round pick, but even a 3rd doesn't hurt much.

To be honest Trading for schenn and demoting polak does not upgrade the d. The DET trade is not enough if i was TOR i would trade Leivo and a 4th to them and i think they may bite but they still might need to make it a 3rd
