I dont hate evander kane as a person or a player, I'm just hesitant about a player who has had difficulties with his own teammates in the past, has had off ice legal issues, skipped practices, and has a LONG list of injury. like Letang levels of injury

Kane would be a Penguin for 19 games and the playoffs. If you're looking to sign him for next season that's a different conversation, but he is mostly likely a straight up rental then out on the FA market this summer. He's a hard and fast skater who can shoot the puck. His toughness and physicality will be welcomed for a cup contender.
I don't think he will snorting coke and killing hookers while on the Pens cup run.

again, im not bashing Kane, I actually like him. But its written in stone that he had major clashes in WPG and while it might not have happened in Buffalo, what if the guys in pittsburgh are more like WPG? what if they just dont get along? With Kane this problem has spiraled out of control before. Theres a chance and its one that should be considered.

That's a really steep price to pay for a wing. I would rather use those assets on a center like brassard who we could get more games out of.
