Both Erik Karlsson and Bobby Ryan for that offer, Not even close 5-7 pieces is the ask here.

SJ has $21.8mm in deadline cap space. They have the cap room and I could see SJ as a destination. I don't think that is enough pieces from SJ to get the deal done though.

I can see this - could trade jumbo now to make it happen if you had to. In reality taking on Bobby Ryan is probably worth 2 pieces.

So you had to mention 5 or 7 pieces...now all these 10 piece ahlers trades will come out...its quality not quantity...but will have some interesting reading for the next few hours lol

I think this deal is fair. Hertl is a good player plus two first round picks. And Karlsson is good but is still overrated in my opinion. Bobby Ryan is a cap dump.
