apparently, according to Travis Yost on Twitter, montreal is in play to act as a 3rd team for a Karlsson and Ryan trade, kind of like what vegas did yesterday with the pens. mtls biggest asset is cap space, so if a 3-way trade goes down, mtl would likely retain on karlsson and ryan, and also receive high quality assets in return. i can find the link to travi's tweet if anyone wants it
