It’s an overpay but they got rid of Beleskey and Spooner was going to dealt in the offseason. Could have been worse. I can live with it.

I would much rather have kept Spooner and dealt him in the off season than dealing him for Nash at the TDL... Line 2 chemistry will go to hell in a hand basket. Nash is about useless. I don't know which trade is a bigger loss Holden or Nash... I guess we'll see what happens come playoff time, but my prediction is we start to slow off pace.

They were going to cool off anyway. A good chunk of that hot streak was against bad teams.

Nash-Krejci-Heinen 2nd line...i like it. Nash’s18 goals is 6 more than anyone not on our 1st line. Not useless.

Deadline deals are always an overpay for the buyer. The team is better now for a playoff run and in better shape cap wise the next few years. And they only gave up 1 significant prospect in the system. I’d say they did allright.

This is a great trade for Boston. Spooner was the odd man out and someone most Bruins fans wrote off during the off-season. He was never part of the long term plans for Boston and everyone knew that. Nash brings goal scorer and a 3-zone game. You can play Nash with either Bergeron/Marchand or Krejci/DeBrusk and he can play a huge role in either line. This might be the most talented team Nash has ever been on.

Late 1st

Spooner = RFA at season's end, needs to be re-signed. 26 years old.

Lindgren = 2nd pairing defenseman is his upside.

We didn't deal any of our top prospects. Easy win!!

RFA shouldn't even mentioned its under team control lol and bruins quick first round exit the pick is under 20, spooner has more ppg the last 3 years then Nash, lindgreen is just a bonus. 2 months of a 33 year old winger for a haul sheesh id be upset too. id be more than upset. how'd u feeling dealing seguin for nothing tho prob even worse
