If we don't land Tavares, Dahlin or anyone who can help "fix" the team, then something like this should be plan "b". Take on some bad contracts get some more picks, see how Lindgren does and get him a proper backup.

Price is not moving anywhere beside Vancouver.
Weber`s contract will become very friendly after Doughty and Karlsson sign their next contract.
Pacioretty, Shaw, Benn, Schlemko are good trade options.

I agree, Weber`s contract becomes more appealing, especially the last four years.

I agree. I think Gallagher has become a nucleus, do not trade type of player.

Wow. Weber's exspenive contract last till he's 40 +. you need like 25% retain in order for it go through.

If that what it will cost... OK with Talbot IN and no retain salary... straight up: Drai + Talb for Price, Gally +2nd
