Actually it`s not that bad as a trade but I think Calgary needs to add a center like bennett or jankowski

Hey, the first trade i saw didn't include patch!

The point is that Calgary has no reason to trade Brodie or Monahan and even if they considered trading them why on earth would they want Patches & Galchenyuk?..

Both Brodie and Monahan are better than either..

It just doesn't make sense.

Monahan and Brodie work in Calgary and aren't a problem, Patchs and Galchenyuk on the other hand are wearing out heir welcome in Montreal..

I don't think Montreal will have a hard time dealing Patches or Galchenyuk but it won't be for a return like that.... Each is probably worth a late first round pick & a remedial prospect....

They're kind of already doing Montreal a tremendous favor with that setup, as their focus is on getting a RHD RW. Asking them to add another center is downright greedy.

I think they would part with brodie for the right deal but not monahan. I dont care if they sign tavares. If they do trade him which i think is improbable its for a stud scorer not 1 year of patches and chuck.

I agree, I only tried to add value to a AGM quite like this -> but sure, we could Petry as collateral -> he is coming off a 35+ season this year.

but yeah, as the maker of this post, I don't believe this trade is likely or even realistic
