I’d imagine CGY would give up a bit more, but definitely a creative idea. Makes CGY look good in the future with a great center core.

I can't see Detroit giving up both Larkin and Mantha together for, like, anything at all in the NHL. Sure, Tkachuk goes a long way towards alleviating things, but Bennett's struggles are such that that's a serious step backward. All that just to reunite brothers - a strategy that generally doesn't pay off at the NHL level?

Parsons is still a good goalie prospect and we get a 3rd. I'm not a big fan of Larkin and Mantha to be honest. Mantha plays way too soft too often. He reminds me of Franzen. And Larkin is a 3rd line center on a good team.

Detroit doesn't need more goalie prospects we already have 5-6 yet to be signed Fillip Larsson and Keith Petruzzelli are two that come to mind. And Larkin being a 3rd line center on good teams yeah a 3rd line center whoms ceiling is around 55-65 points per season either way you look at it that's high end #2C low end #1C

This is so bad for Detroit, I'll i would love to have Matthew Tkachuk Sam Bennett's value is at a all time low right now and he'd only devalue Tkachuk right now Parson isn't a need Detroit already has 6-8 goalies now within their system even after dealing Mrazek. If either Larkin or Mantha get dealt it's for a top pairing LHD/RHD nothing less Mantha and Tkachuk are similar players Larkin is far better already then Sam Bennett if any thing this makes Detroit greatly worse not better.

Again the Wings needs, start on the back end, not up front. You are not getting anything we truly need. A top 4 D-man is what they need to improve this team and until which time they draft, sign or trade for one, any trades that involve forwards is like moving the deck chairs on the the Titanic.
