giving up that high pick for Pietrangelo who is a ufa in two seasons seems a step backward for a rebuilding team.

    Luke fight the FORCE!!!!!!

Yes we will not win the lottery..... we have an 81.5% chance to lose the lottery only an 18.5% chance to win.

The key for us as a fanbase and the Sabres as an organization it is critical for us to administer patience. The rebuild of this organization is in its infancy stage. The desire to make a quick fix is what has delayed the PROCESS (to take a favorite phrase of McDermott & Beane) in the first place (go after high priced FA when the organization was not ready).

If we do not get Dahlin we will end up with a talented solid player at picks 2, 3 or 4. Then the key will be to let that player develop and mature utilizing PATIENCE and trusting the PROCESS.

I would advise against trading the 1st & 2nd Round pick in 2019 as I anticipate that we will finish 31st in 2018/2019 season.

My advice to you is similar to what Mayor Jimmy Griffin said "get yourself a 6 pack and stay home'.
    Eli liked this.
