You really think Miller who is 40 point Dman will sign for 2.5m. Vegas isn't trading the best players in the deal. Sheehan gets a 2nd and 4th?

You're giving VGK a whole lot of nothing for a great top 4 D and a good middle 6 winger.

ARI deal is terrible for PIT.

No way Sheahan brings back a 2nd. MAYBE a late late 2nd.

And Schultz did even better with 51 points last year but look at the down year he had this year in production. And Miller didn't even get 51pts, he got 40. A pssible drop in production for him is definitely worth signing him for 2.5 and plus this is the US so he should consider himself lucky because, if he was in Canada where the dollar isn't worth as much as the American dollar, he'd be getting even less money.

Dumoulin really isn't. 6 more years of 4.1 mil too, have to get rid of that disaster before it becomes impossible to do so. Look at him out there, he's making me cry. He was on for both goals so far in this Philly game.

Where you came up with 51 points, ??????. As anyone should know on CapFriendly , all players even the ones in playing Canada in American dollars equivalent. It's still a horrid trade getting the two best players in the deal, for minor leaguers and a cap dump.

You serious? Schultz had 51 pts last year. Check it out. HockeyDB They're not just minor leaguers. Those are 4 prospects being given to vegas. Hunwick and Ruhwedel can play.

I was talking about Miller of Vegas and his 40 points. Hunwick isn't really wanted by the Pens and Ruhwedel is really a 26 year old fourth liner. Just a lot of quantity being traded to Vegas for two of their regulars.

I think the prospects in the deal would make them do it. Cody Glass, Nick Suzuki, and William Karlsson will be their top centres and Cody Eakin, Bellemare and Lindberg will battle for the remaining 1 or 2 spots left at centre. They dont need Haula. And they're defensive depth is ever stronger with Nic Hague and Brad Hunt looking to make the jump, Miller is also expendable because of this. The prospects coming from the Pens wont be NHL ready until later which is fine because, Vegas already has enough guys coming in.
