just for the trade of lucic. he has mmc and probably wouldn't want to play in montreal and then you trade him to an even worse team. then you think you dump alzner and shaw and their cap hit for just picks how many rhd do montreal need, weber, petry, juulsen and now Carlson. the price trade is somewhat the same, big money going to the flyers, how does it fit into their cap?

    1) RNH & Lucic for a 2nd ? ........ Lucic is over paid ....... but a 2nd might get you Lucic by himself.

Sabres want no part of Pacioretty. He has declined big time in the last 2-3 seasons, is an upcoming UFA, would cost a lot to resign, and is too old for the Sabres current needs

He hasn't. He's still in the top 5 for most goals scored in the last 4 seasons in the NHL.

He's not the same player he was a few years ago, I watch a ton of Montreal games. He used to be a pure sniper, but his goals seem to be more luck than anything nowadays, I know he still gets his fair share of goals but his overall play has plummeted since he became captain

One star for the Philly trade no way is Philly dealing Nolan Patrick and MB is only retaining $500,000 on Price will take far more then that.
