This is why I sign JT even if I have to overpay

Created by: Bdinella
Team: 2019-20 Philadelphia Flyers
Initial Creation Date: May 2, 2018
Published: May 2, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If Flyers sign JT in summer of 2018 they can be Stanley Cup contenders for the next years by just developing their picks and prospects. The trades, draft picks and compensation are interchangeable. Just trying to give you an idea. MacDonald and Weiss's contracts will be expiring so still will have plenty of cap space around 13 million after this year

      trade values aren't bad.
I have this feeling Tavares is going to San Jose...

I can't imagine any team wanting to move that far out of the top-7 of this draft, although you are probably giving fair value. There's a really nice tier of players 2-7 that are all looking like quality prospects and then a drop-off beyond there IMO.

Love the VAN trade but doubt they'd do it. Dallas trade not a a fan of at all honestly. Values might be close in theory but tough to see either team agreeing.

Tavares will need seven years, and more like 12.5 mil. This looks like a deal, instead of an overpay.

The signing is 7 years. This is after next seasons team that is why I reduced it to 6. I think I did that for a fe players I fixed the money too
      KH44 liked this.
