I’d say Vegas has a contender right now. All u did was trade depth and replace Neal with Sheary (which u really didnt need to do. U have space to keep Neal.)

Why would FLA give up their first round pick to do a sign and trade with Neal, when they could just sign him out right and keep their pick?

This is a sign and trade. Vegas could sign Neal and keep him if they wanted.

I’d say that’s probably right in the ballpark of where he will be.

4.5 is the top amount I would pay for him right now. If I see more in the playoffs maybe I will think about a 5.5, but thats about it.

4.5 for 1 “prove you can do it again” year but if it’s anything more than that it’s $6 per

I agree, but right now it can be one of those guys who falls off like Shattenkirk, Okposo, and Milan Lucic. No doubt William Karlsson is great player, but can he keep it up for 6 to 7 years. You have to have the production from a 6 million a year guy, and I don't know if he is ready to be treated like a Elite Player yet.

The difference with the guys you mentioned are that they went to a new team. Karlsson has proven chemistry with the guys he is playing with. $6 mil is actually going to be very cheap for a 1A/1B centreman in the next few years.
