    I like the trade except I wouldn't want to give up McGinn. Maybe a prospect like Mascherin or Hawyrluk.

    I like that you're making big changes.

    I think a lot of these are fair value, but I'm not sure Tor wants to sell a goalie or that Phi wants to add a defenseman. But somewhere, something can be done. Edm have three NHL goalies under contract, might move Talbot, whether or not their fans know it yet. Washington kinda do, too; will move Grubauer for about a 1st. Might be able to get Luongo for Seabrook, in terms of balancing cap hits?

    look at the Florida defencemen. no way they want to or can afford seabrook. no team is taking seabrook at this full contract. for an extra million, the panthers could sign Carlson and be a much better team.

    IMO Botterill would say yes to Bowman faster than the speed of light.
