Flyers will take that but make it a 2018 or 2020 3rd.

pass on that Flyers trade. Simmonds is awesome but a 1st, a really good prospect on Bowers and. 3rd round pick for 1 year of Simmonds who would be 31 if you sign him to a big money extension.

Those are the exact sort of trades that the avs will be avoiding, they went down that road once and it back fired.

Too much to give up for Perreault. no need for the 2nd rounder if you are giving up Soderberg and Beaudin, overspending for what could be arguably a pretty lateral move for the Avs.

Effectively 2 1sts and 2 3rds for a prematurely aging Simmonds? No thanks. (Bowers is recent 1st, and has maintained that by outscoring his linemate who is projected to go 4th overall this year) Wilson cost the Avs a 4th due to be slightly overpaid. Take away the overpayment with that retention, and he is worth a 3rd.

Paying Beaudin and a 2nd for at best a lateral move that is only 2 years younger and slightly less cap hit. Not worth it, keep Soda.

Very little interest in most of the UFAs, Makar is not leaving college yet, and Noel is a reach at #16.
