Nylander for Hanifin straight up is okay. With Kadri? Add another piece in there or get Kadri out..

I doubt toronto would be giveing up kadri when they are already losing 2 centermen if this trade happens Mathews would be the only Center left

Your team is looking for a #1 center. Kadri is a second liner and Nylander is a top line winger. Your needs aren’t exactly filled. Not to mention the fact that Toronto is over paying for Hanifin.

EXACTLY!! And we have young guys coming up. Just insert Holl or Ozhiganov in the lineup and play.

Leafs got bounced first round because of there defense. If you don't add a good dman you will get bounced again next playoffs and I will laugh. laugh

In fairness, Carolina had god awful goaltending.

That being said, this trade proposal is ridiculous. I agree Nylander for Hanifin is fair, especially if Carolina views Nylander as a C

Nylander is an elite winger and Kardi is a top tier second line center. Hanifin ain’t that good.

A great to troll to get folks awake on a Saturday morning. Leafs probably wouldn't even trade with Nylander or Kadri one on for Hanifan. But when making trade, know your trading partner. Leafs have weaknesses sure but LHD isn't one of them. Centre is a weakness with only Matthews and Kadri as the only two NHL centres the Leafs. Nylander, excellent chance of moving to centre this season.
90% of Hanifan are to the Leafs and Habs, can't he be traded to any other team?

Leafs don't need another LHD and certainly not for the price of our 2C and 1RW. Neither of these trades a remotely close to being realistic.
