Interesting concept but there are players/teams being added here simply to make it a 4 way trade. 4 way trades are just not feasible.

I agree, a 4 way trade is not really realistic at all... "WPG could just trade Trouba to TOR for Marner and keep Marner for themselves" ... I get that, but this was just more fun!

If MIN is trying to stay relevant now, while still keeping an eye to the future, I think they would most certainly have some interest here. A little more might have to be added, but I think it's definitely close.

Like I said it is an interesting concept. I think the values were pretty decent too. Which is hard for a 4 way trade to make everyone happy.

Lots of moving parts and to make it all seem relatively close is difficult...so I'll give you props for doing that much.

As a Jets fan we pass.....We have a #1 LD with Morrissey and can't afford to give up our #1 RD of the future in Trouba.

So keeping an eye towards the future involves selling the younger players for players a few years older?

Dumba > Faulk. He's younger with a ton of team control, and took a big jump last year in playing in the d-zone. Faulk is a rental +1 and his value is not what it was 2-3 years ago. Lindholm is nice, but not the guy a Playoff team would want as a top-6 center. I'll keep JEE and gamble that he'll be the better player.

For a 4-team trade, everybody makes out okay. Obvioulsy it was pointed that WPG could just trade Trouba for Marner, but for a 4 team trade it balances out well. MN fans will say they aren't getting enough, but Lindholm is super underrated. Feasible or not, cool trade(s)!

Trouba is on record saying that he has every intention of resigning long term with Winnipeg, No way Trouba would accept a deal to Toronto a team he grew up hating as a child.
