Toronto does not need hunwick and his terrible contract, they will already have cap problems in the future with all of the young guys needing contracts, and that package will not get you domi, that trade is pretty much 2 bottom 6 forwards and a pick in the 50s for Domi, uhhh no

I think the Domi trade is fair to both sides. And, the Hunwick cap dump isn't that bad. I mean Toronto thought Hainsey was a good pick up, why would Hunwick be valued less than garbage Ron Hainsey.

Trade a guy that averages 16 goals a year, for a guy that averages 12? Plus you're going to throw in a dynamic rookie and a second round pick? Domi hasn't accomplished anything to warrant this. He's a third liner , at best.

Domi has done nothing but lose value. That package is pretty close to what he will return if traded. Hunwik is a complete cap dump and worthless, Hainsey played well for the pens and the leafs. The leafs dont need barley bottom pairing level puck moving d they need guys like hainsey, stay at home shot blocking defensive d.
