I had a dream last night

Description
So I know I proposed a trade like this recently with Arizona I do feel if ownership puts enough pressure on Maloney (GM) this trade is very probable. it gives Arizona a marketable franchise player, A potential top 6 wing, a Top 6 forward and a vet who would love to play with his brother. Toronto gets a stud 1st line center, a top 6 LW, and a top pair physical Dman. Hamonic will be moved before the start of preseason and I do think the Islanders will see the upside of trading up in this draft seeing they have plenty of depth in D and could use a little more in the forwards. This will still allow us to draft 2 good prospects, still solidify areas of weakness and who knows Hamonic could be a future Captin. Also, traded away the retirement home (LTIR) for picks that could happen seeing for now we wouldn't actually get any cap relief from having them.

      These are horrible. First deal Toronto doesn't do it.

      Second deal Hamonic would not play for Toronto, not to mention the Islanders would LOL and probably block the line from Toronto for a year.

      Third deal Chicago won't need to make. They are very good at solving their cap problems. Let's not forget they could trade for Pronger straight up with Arizona if they want and dump salary to them if need be.

      Fourth deal Cowen is not worth a 3rd to Anaheim. His cap hit is too high on a buy out in 2018 (2017 credit not worth it to them).

      5th deal is common sense. Zero value for pitts to get LTIR credit. Why is it that Toronto is taking on bad contracts and LTIR guys and getting assets with them. Then another team takes them on and has to pay up to get the credit????

      Also sparks won't get $1m. Zaitzev will get more than $1m. At least try to be accurate.

      Arizona love the pronger deal because he is almost a $5mil cap hit but only have 500k salary. A huge way to hit the cap floor and save yourself 4.5mil

      First I do feel Arizona need Matthews to sell tickets. second Domi is a top 6 LW but this gives them a future top 6 of Kadri, Harzel, Duclair, Matthews, Kapanen, and Reider. That isn't so shabby. Also, I am proposing here toronto wish list for Matthews and what could happen if Arizona relent and give it up and what could happen of it does. Also, Hamonic has demanded a trade to Canada so giving them a top 10 pick a quality 4/5 D for Hamonic and a bottom 10 pick would at least intrigue them.

      That top 6 does not scream Stanley cup....Look at recent cup winners and tell me how those players project to be what those teams currently are? Kapanen is projected as a borderline top 6 at best

      I wasn't aware that he only gets paid that much but I feel the leafs won't trade Matthews for anything less than what I proposed (minus pronger adding maybe a 5th to the leafs)
