Perhaps Vancouver is not the most convenient place to trade ROR. Tanev and Goldobin is good, Nilsson is not very necessary, especially it we already had, maybe something else, but I don't know what.

Canucks could use him as a #2 or #1 center since we lack scoring, also they had interest in him according to bob mackenzie. Maybe a prospect and another pick?

No, I understand that you need ROR, I don't understand what I can take from you in return. To be honest, I'm not very good at your perspective players, and I don't know anyone except Juolive.

Five stars for wanting O'Reilly
I do not know much about Tanev other than I see his name on numerous trades. Since the offers for him seem to be substantial, I have to presume he is a very good defensive defenseman.
So Tanev, Goldobin, N and a 2nd may actually be close to a fair value. (I am basing this on the trades offers for him), but I think we need to add the obvious Jonathan Dahlen. Then the Sabres could have Dahlen and Dahlin and Rasmus and Rasmus.

Oh come on it is worth at least 2 stars. BTW Jonathan Dahlen would be cool, he led his team in scoring this past year and had nearly twice as many goals as the next team mate.

We already have Bogosian who is always hurt,
so i can’t see us wanting Tanev as well

Definitely no interest in Nilsson
Possibly Demko, but is he your guy for the future?
If so, u guys might not be willing to move him

Juolevi or #7 are most likely the obvious pieces we’d be after
Probably #7 moreso, bc we are pretty stacked with LH defense now with Dahlin (Scandella, McCabe, Guhle, Pilut & Beaulieu as well)

U gotta remember,
O’Reilly (IF we even move him) will be in high demand
So you’re gonna have to outbid other teams

I don’t think we’d move him unless an offer blows us away
Our GM keeps talking about building down the middle,
and how strong we are gonna be at Center with Eichel, O’Reilly & Mittelstadt

Yes, ROR is a stud but he is a massive trade chip for a rebuilding team. It shouldn't be difficult to get multiple teams bidding for an ROR trade...MTL/StL/SJS...

Agreed
I just think it’ll take quite an offer to pry him away
Even though Mittelstadt looks to be a stud himself,
I don’t think we wanna rush him right into a top6 role either
Even Matthews started at 3C for the Leafs after all
No reason for us to rush him

And we’d have to find someone to take on all the tough defensive minutes O’Reilly plays
Bc of him, we’ve been able to shelter Eichel, & now Mittelstadt too

Lots of factors going into whether we will actually trade him or not

What a way to waste Erik Gudbranson, could get something much better in return.

Benning said Boeser,Pettersson, Horvat, dahlen And demko are untouchables.. I could see Juolevi on the move if we don’t move #7

Idk that Juolevi fits for us bc we have a lot of LH defensemen as it is

Buffalo & Vancouver might not be good trade partners
