That is a awful Oreilly trade. Two overpaid/ overterm players on the back half of their careers

Buffalo takes arguably one of the worst contracts in hockey for Weber who's coming off of a torn tendon plus Shaw who is incredibly overpaid which actually together is a bigger contract than what we are giving away in ROR.... but Buffalo gets a 2nd rounder?

I agree. I wouldn't do it, but around the league Weber still holds a rep. I think his contract is more of a burden at this point. But maybe Buf would take him for something else? Also, the value for ROR seems way lower than I rate him as well.

So misunderstand me correctly, I wouldn't do this from Buffalos perspective, not in a million years, but in judging how people around the league evaluate players I think this is closer than it realistically should be

trading weber is not so hard because his salary is only 6 mil now and getting lower in a couple of years.... forget about shaw though buff wontwant him include Lehtenen or/and schrebrek and the trade might happen
