i disagree they need a tendy and Grub is looking good, i think he can split the season in the crease with Lehner and make them compete with eachother for that starting spot, kinda like dallas (kinda!). i will say grub is probably going somewhere else tho, probably Isles or Canes

i think Caps should do everything in their power to resign carlson, i like acquiring those picks, but i think you should use some of them to convince a team to take on the orpik contract.

I don't know what your point is. We have ullmark so we don't need to give up assets for grub as a said. We can just sign a 1b goalie in FA.

did you even read the rest of my comment, i said i dont think hes going to buffalo. im just saying i can see where whoever made this is coming from. also i forgot about ullmark, and lehner might not resign with the sabers this offseason.

Personally, I think Lehner is pretty average. Ullmark could be good, but Grub is more proven. Personally, I don't see Grub going to Canes or Isles (even tho they both really need a goalie) because those two are both metro teams. Teams almost never trade within the same division. The mojo to New Jersey was a pretty rare case...

Arizona doesn't take that trade. Dvorak is a good young 2nd/3rd line shutdown center. Not going to trade him for two depth pieces and a second + third

that is very true, i dont know how familliar you are with the schneider trade, but vancouver missed out on a lot just so he doesnt go to edmonton. but there is the martin jones trade which did bite LA in the end. i just cant see Grub being in washington next season

The 2nd is Buffalo's so its basically a late-first. Siegenthaler is a decent prospect and Bowey is young and has potential. They are not exactly depth pieces. The third only makes things sweeter.
