Not even close to being enough, it's a good start but you need to add more, Jost / Makar/ Timmins, 2 of those guys.

There is no way man, ottawas first pick is more then enough because Karlsson HAS to leave Ottawa and their 1st could turn into Hughes next summer... I'd rather keep the pick and sign a less skilled dman who costs half the money

Ottawa is in no position to be requesting a return of that caliber. With everything going on in Ottawa right now they should be happy with this return. If Karlsson isn't traded I don't see why he would resign with that dumpster fire of an organization, so it's either trade him or lose him for nothing next year. Keep in mind OTT 2019 1st will likely be top 4 (especially with Karlsson leaving)

Seriously? As the guys above have said! Definitely no way you get TWO of Jost, Makar & Timmins on top.

Last time I checked Colorado wasn't the only team interested in Karlsson, he's still a superstar.

No doubt he is. But don't undersell Barrie's value either. There are a lot of teams that would pony up a good package to get Barrie out of COL, and I'm betting Ottawa would be very interested in him if they're sending EK the other way. You may be right that the Avs would still need to add a bit, but not two of the young players you suggested.
