Well, changing that 4th rounder to a 2nd would be fair. But nucks also need their centers and Horvat is basically the one and only NHL proven young center on their roster, so yea, I don't see them trading Bo. Unless someone overpays significantly, which would be very Bergevin-like move to make ?.

That’s one thing that seems to get forgotten with ACGMs.....just because it’s fair value doesn’t mean it’s a good deal for the recipient.

This wasn’t equal value And as you said, Horvat is more valuable to them then what his trade value is.

Yea, it's the same thing everytime. I understand that this is 'fantasy' but suggesting that a team will accept a trade for a certain player that they have absolutely no use for, simply because the value is fair, is IMO plain idiotic.

Easy no from the Canucks. Horvat is worth more than Sherbak, a fourth, and 4 spaces in the draft. Horvat is our future captain, and almost untouchable. The only way Horvat gets dealt to you guys, is Horvat for 3rd overall, Mete, and Gallagher.

I understand it may not be enough, but you counter is unreal. Horvat is not a point per game player. He was traded for Corey Schneider. Gallagher is a core player who just reached another level, the third is probably one too, and Mete is almost a top 4 at 19. The real reason its not happening is told in previous comments. I'd wait for Pettersson to show he's a 1C and then do the trade.

No, just simply no. Nucks don't need a bunch of wingers and a defenseman. They need core players and a proven center. That's why Horvat is not going anywhere.

That's how ridiculous trading Horvat and the 7th are to us.
