I don’t honestly even see that working. Patches with no contract after next year, 3 years older, and coming off a down year causes concern. Montreal will probably have to add

ROR definetly didn't have an UP year either. That causes concern also

Ya i know...Did you see what numbers Backstrom, Tavares, Kucherov, Seguin , McKinnon etc. Put up? ROR at 7.5 mill... every standard yr is a down yr.

If its standard year, by definition its not a down year....

And at this point in their careers, I'd rather have ROR than max pac.

And you're entitled to your opinion. Like I'm entitled to mine, ROR is not worth 7.5 mill. Just because he can win faceoffs, it's not a good enough attribute that earns that money.
