I can't see Carolina moving Teravainen, but I do this as a buffalo fan. A young top 6 forward, a good top 4 defenseman and a top 40 pick.

They have multiple young players due in a couple of years, and in addition they will draft Svechnikov in a week to add to their roster. Someone has to go. To me, Teräväinen could move, they were already shopping him a year ago.

Yeah this just isn't true. Tuevo was never being shopped by the Canes. He and Aho will be line-mates for a long time, they are best friends and set the world on fire last year. Literally they were just about the only bright spot on our team. Tuevo is just about as close to untouchable on the Canes as they come.

Mate, I'm Finnish, I know how well they play together. But we saw that in world championships that Aho is the magic man and Teuvo just hangs there. And the fact remains, you have to let someone go. There's a good chance Teuvo leaves.

Well, you have to trade someone soon enough. There's many players already on Canes roster that are RFA and UFA, so unless they all take a massive pay-cut to stay together, you have to trade someone. Aho makes currently less than 1M. He's gonna get paiiiiiiddd. And Hanifin is gonna get paid this offseason. Jordan Staal has an untradeable disgusting contract, so you need to adapt.

Trades will be made, contract will be given out, but Teuvo will not be traded.

Canes will have cap space for both Fins unless they take on horrible contracts in the trades.

Yea, they have the space right now. I'm really excited for Canes, especially when you add Svechnikov, man o man... There's a lot to like. Just fix the goaltending issue. Maybe Darling picks himself up next year.
