Definite no to the Chicago deal. Not worth it in a million years for the sabres.

He's 29, the long term would hurt buffalo. Not worth giving up futures for, especially Mittlestadt. You're crazy if you think we're dealing mittlestadt.

i mean if im chicago i would never trade Kane but in the rare instance that CHI is extremley high on Casey then that is where the deal pivots off of. I dont think its 'Crazy' at all. You aren't trading Eichel and you aren't trading Dahlin. You are getting rid of your 3rd best young asset, a high potential winger (nylander) and still get sharks 1st in 2018. Kane is PPG player for his career and should be able to maintain that till hes 35 at the least and has shown interest in coming home before.....you say 29 like that is old as dirt, just because Mcdavid and Matthews come in at 20 and dominate doesnt mean players north of 27 are bad

He is a problem in Buffalo. We do not need to get older as a budding franchise. Getting a player like that will just hurt in the long run. Keep Mittlestadt, build from within. We don't need to add more headcases in Buffalo. PKane makes zero sense for Buffalo. There is a reason the sabres still haven't done anything recently in the standings and it's because GMTM dealt futures away to speed up the rebuild. Most of those trades didn't work. Trust your young players and don't trade them away just to get older.

respect the opinion. The young talent is there i just feel like you need one of your best players to be prime and have experience. If JT was willing to sign it would make this all easier lol but itll be fun to watch once Dahlin is in camp
