Definitely doesn't get you OEL but if you swapped out the 2016 first for another year it wouldn't be that bad at all. Seidenberg is slowing down and almost 35. Subban hasn't lived up to expectations yet. Morrow is meh.

I don't think it's a way overpayment considering Seidenbergs age and Morrow is a projected bottom pairing dman, Subban is also not a blue chip prospect so almost all the value is in that 1st round pick.

I'm pretty sure you traded your 2016 1st round pick and 2016 2nd round pick twice????

Good eye! Also I could be wrong here but I thought Vesey could only sign a rookie deal money wise?

That's correct, $950k max, but he can be offered Performance Bonuses and if they are met they add onto the cap hit.

Boston has two first rounders...and after the Vancouver trade they'd have 2 2nds also...

With the huge imbalance in forwards to defense in the Coyotes prospect pool there's not a chance they move OEL for a forward. The only scenario I could see where they deal him is if they get back a high ceiling defenseman who they can control for a longer period of time. But even then, they still have him for three more years.

Vesey will be UFA. And if you are getting his rights what are you trading?

I want OEL and Eberle just as much as the next guy but not sure this is how you do it. Also Stempniak is $3M. And don't spend that money on Krug. We have plenty with C. Miller, O'Gara, Grezlyk, Zboril, Morrow, Carlo, etc. No need to overpay a guy that can be replaced. Krug is a 3rd pair specialty player.
