It's a start. Honestly hard to value Skinner fairly. Would suck to trade Rust and Jarry within the division but Skinner might be worth it. Didn't bother signing Kuhnhackl. (Rumor via Josh Yohe (The Athletic) and Elliot Friedman (31 thoughts 2? weeks ago))

Any deal involving Skinner probably needs to have a 1st+top prospect.

That's why I was hoping to get away with a good player in Rust and a good goalie prospect in Jarry. Instead of a guaranteed first, I threw in two picks with one being conditional to become a first. I tried Confused

I think it's a pretty fair deal. It's hard for Carolina to ask for any more than that without an extension in place.
