Description

New Lines: One Trade/One Non-18 Roster Signing. To Avoid Cap Issues in years 2/3 move Backes once NMC lightens up in first offseason. Chara's 5 cap hit is up, Backes' 6 gone. 11 mil to distribute between RFA's (MacAvoy, Donato, Carlo, Heinen) and bring back Pacc.

Like the trade for both Bruins and Habs but Krejci probably cancels the trade with his NMC this season.

If his playing time is cut bad by Tavares signing, and he is promised to be flipped my MTL for a team he can win with, I'm sure he won't nix a trade. He doesn't want to become a third liner.

But Montreal wouldn't flip him. They're the most desperate team in the league for centres, and probably one of the few who would actually give something worthwhile to take on Krejci's contract.

I agree, cant stand all these people doing the 8 year thing.

Montreal absolutely needs centers, but I'm not sure the Bruins want to do that kind of deal with them. Pretty much any other team though.

JT is getting 12 which puts you over the cap.

11m might be enough to sign our RFAs next year, maybe, but not our RFAs and Max, that notion is absurd.
