The supposed StL deal on the table is
Parayko
Sobatka (Cap dump)
1st
Fabbri
*Thomas is untouchable apparently

For

O’Reilly
McCabe
*Sabres might have to add another piece

Although StL may actually have to add more after July1 when Buffalo pays the 7.5mil bonus to ROR

StL had talks with you guys and CAR involving Parayko, as well as the Sabres
Supposedly they’re down on him after a rough season

Gonna call BS on that. Buffalo would have taken that deal and ran by now. ROR is not getting you that return, the asked return is apparently a 1st a 2nd and a prospect, that’s the starting asking price, will Buffalo will end up with less then that by the end though.

We will see
I think Buffalo fans will be happy with the return for O’Reilly

I think that’s going to depend on when the deal is made and who has to pay the $7.5 million on July 1. If Buffalo pays him and then trades him, huge return, getting another team to hand him that cheque, means less of a return.

I think it’s safe to assume that Buffalo plans to pay the 7.5mil
Otherwise, he’d probably have been traded

That should help maximize the return

Seems like StL really wants him
And they’ve got lots of good young pieces they can afford to part with
Who knows which pieces they’ll actually be,
but i think a BUF/STL deal makes sense for both teams
